PALM BEACH GARDENS – A pair of business-savvy brothers has transformed a popular Chinese restaurant into a therapeutic massage studio.

Elements Massage, with more than 250 locations nationwide and seven in Florida, opened June 5 in the space formerly occupied by Mr. Zhangs Chinese restaurant in The Shops of Donald Ross Village.

The business, owned by Jeffrey and Allan Chabon, offers personalized, therapeutic massage services.

People can come in and take the stress away, take the aches and pains away and feel good in a relaxing environment, said Allan Chabon, a longtime businessman who lives in Columbus, Ohio. Our licensed massage therapists go through intensive training. They provide a great experience.

Allan Chabon and his brother, a longtime marketing executive who lives in Orlando, decided to open the studio while on the hunt for a more stable career path.

Allan Chabon has spent years in corporate retail, while his brother once worked with musicians such as the Rolling Stones and David Bowie. Jeffrey Chabon also owns an NBA championship ring from when he worked with Spurs Sports & Entertainment in San Antonio.

The Chabons picked Palm Beach Gardens as the location for their new business because they are familiar with the area.

Jeffrey Chabon previously lived in Jupiter, and other family members have homes in Palm Beach County.
