Therapeutic Or Relaxation Massage
Therapeutic massage includes treating areas of discomfort with light to firm pressure to alleviate the discomfort, deep tissue techniques may be used for effective treatment. Relaxation massage uses light to firm pressure meant to just relax.
Appointments must be made in advance. Appointment times will be spaced to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols. Payment is due at scheduling.
I understand that the massage/bodywork I receive is for relaxation, relief of tension, & to reduce pain. If I experience any pain, discomfort or am ticklish during this session, I will immediately inform the student massage therapist so that the pressure and/or touch may be adjusted to my level of comfort. I understand that I have the option to be unclothed to my comfort level and appropriate draping of sheets will be used to cover me. I also understand that massage therapy is not a substitute for medical examination, chiropractic adjustment or diagnosis. I affirm that I have stated all my known medical conditions. Promptness is expected for all appointments. In the event of lateness, the massage session may be cut short due to other commitments of the therapist and fees will be maintained per the schedule. The therapist may refuse to treat any client or part of their body with just and reasonable cause. Any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances will result in immediate termination of the treatment.
